Hi guys! To be honest, I’m a total high-end makeup junkie. But, I do still believe there are some really great products you can find at the drugstore – and wanted to share my faves!
Wet ‘N Wild honestly never ceases to amaze me. Their eye brushes are amazing! The blending brush is actually my favorite blending brush, and I have several that are far more expensive. The cost of the eye brushes are 99 cents. YES, 99 cents! Eco Tools also offers great face brushes for low cost as well. This is the define and highlight duo that I love using for bronzer and highlight. You can fine Eco Tools at Target, Walmart or Ulta.
Sonia Kashuk is also another drugstore brand that I’m a huge fan of! The Velvety Matte Lip Crayon’s are exact dupes for the Nars matte lip crayons and only cost $7.99! Sonia Kashuk is exclusively sold at Target.
I’ve mentioned Milani Make it Last setting spray a few times on my blog before, so I won’t go into super detail. But it’s one of my favorite setting sprays ever! It also has a great nozzle that creates a fine mist and helps the make up last all day, It’s also about 1/3 of the price of most setting stays. The Wet N wild blushes are also amazing. They are pigmented but not powdery or chalky and they’re only $2.99!
Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation is probably my favorite of all time. And I have a ton of high end foundations. It is matte, but not cakey or dry looking. It’s super long wearing and light weight. Literal perfection. I usually get mine at target because it’s only $5.99 there. They also have a ton of shades and undertones!
Rimmel Stay Matte Lip Liquid. These are amazing! I only have one shade in “Be My Baby” but plan on getting more. They are under $3 and remind me of some of my high end liquid lipsticks. Super long wearing and comfortable!
Some of the first lip products I ever purchased years ago were the NYX lip creams and I still stand by them. They are pigmented, comfortable and long wearing. They also have so many shades! These are the shades Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara and Brow Stylist Plumper. I did a full review of the Lash Paradise, it’s a dupe for Too Faced Better than Sex. The Brow Stylist Plumper is a great drugstore brow gel. It reminds me of the Benefit Gimme Brow, but I wouldn’t say it’s an exact dupe, just a great alternative. It doesn’t make your brows too sticky, but still keeps them in place.
What are your favorites from the drugstore? Let me know in the comments, I love trying new things! XOXO AwkwardGirlBeauty
