March Favorites: Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle

Hi guys! So, I try not to do favorites every single month because I feel like it isn’t enough time to see if I really like something. So, I wanted to give you an update on what I’ve been loving recently! IMG_2300.JPG

I recently had a gift card to Sephora but didn’t “need” anything so I bought this on a whim, and I have fallen in love! It is a radiant bronzer, but doesn’t contain any glitter. I love that it isn’t too warm either, it’s pretty neutral. This is going to be perfect for summer! You can pick this up at Ulta or Sephora.

I think I must have the unpopular opinion on these Too Faced Love Lights, because everyone else seems to not like them too much. I have the shade Ray of Light. It is not a bam in-your-face or see your highlight from space highlighter. However, I love this shade because it actually blends in with my skin tone and just makes me look dewy! It is also great to use as a blush topper. So, if you’re looking for an intense highlight, you won’t like this.

Here they are swatched. That perfect spring / summer glow!

This is honestly the best tinted moisturizer I have ever tried! It actually has coverage. It is light coverage, but still covers little imperfections. It is also long-wearing and doesn’t make me oily! The downside it it only comes in 3 shades, so if you’re super pale, or deeper in skin tone you probably won’t be able to use this. Get it together, Tarte.

As I’ve mentioned before, I only use deodorant without aluminum. Recently, the one I ha been using quit working. So when I saw my favorite brand came out with a vegan deodorant I had to try it! It smells amazing, not too strong. It lasts about 6-7 hours as well .

The Origins Out of Trouble mask is the best I’ve ever used. You can use it as a mask, or overnight spot treatment for breakouts. It isn’t harsh at all. I don’t get a lot of breakouts anymore, but sometimes I will get a series of small bumps around my chin or forehead and this helps clear them up!

The Milani Make it Last setting spray is my new holy grail! And it’s drugstore, so that’s a plus. It doesn’t make you completely matte, but it doesn’t make you dewy either. It genuinely just prolongs the wear time of your makeup. Will definitely be repurchasing this!

I have been going crazy over mules lately. I could not resist these studded ones from MissGuided. The buckle detail is to die for. And they are super comfy!

I am a podcast junkie! This American Lie and Serial are two of my favorites so when I saw they had a new show, I immediately subscribed. Brian Reed takes you on a journey to rural Alabama to investigate a murder with Alabama native John B. There are a shit ton of plot twists in this real life story of Shit Town, Alabama. Also, all of the episodes are available at once so you can binge listen!

What are your favorites this month? Also, if you have any other podcast recommendations, leave me a comment!

  1. I was going to pick up one of the new Too Faced highlighters, but after reading the negative reviews I think I’ll wait to see if they come to the UK! So glad to hear that you like it!xx
