KL Polish Wear Test

If you’re like me, you might be a nail polish junkie. Recently, my favorite YouTuber KathleenLights created her own line of nail polish, KL Polish. She states that she wanted to create a polish that was opaque, long wearing and free from harsh chemicals. AKA everything I could ever ask for in a nail product. The price points is $8.50, similar to other big name brands, and her first release includes 6 beautiful shades. I started off with one purchase, to make sure I liked them. I bought the shade Caramello, which is exactly what it sounds like, a beautiful rich yellow brown that is so unique! Here’s how it went…

The color is super opaque after two coats and the brush is perfect! It is the perfect width and somewhat short so the brush hairs don’t start to spread everywhere. This also helps with even application. For reference I used Essie Gel Couture Top Coat.

FullSizeRender(5)Day 2 looked exactly the same, so I decided to skip a day between photos. My nails grow suuuuper fast so you will start to see growth even after a few days. But, day 3 still looking fab!

FullSizeRender(6)FullSizeRender(7)Day 5 you start to see the growth and my cuticles, but they still look great that has nothing to do with the polish itself. The top tip area also wore off but this ALWAYS happens no matter the polish, but usually before day 5. So, that’s a plus!

FullSizeRender(8)Day 7 the sides start to wore off. This is normal wear I think for nails. But as you can see, NO CHIPPING! I’m so impressed. Usually after 7 full days I have chips and start to get embarrassed that my nails look bad but not with this polish. They still look totally acceptable after a full week.Β  I highly recommend these polishes and will be buying more!

Have you guys tried KL Polish, what did you think? Let me know what you’re favorite nail brands are!
