Less Is More … Sometimes

FullSizeRender(5).jpg

Recently I’ve been trying something different with my everyday makeup… skipping foundation and using a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. I know… ground-breaking stuff happening over here, y’all. Here is how it has been…

My Skin is Grateful

I don’t have the worst skin in the world, but, I do get lots of little bumps and texture probably resulting from clogged pores. I stay away from heavy foundations, but, wearing foundation almost every day has probably contributed to this. Since I have been trading in my foundation for tinted moisturizer I have noticed a difference in texture and significantly less bumps. Clearer skin = less makeup needed anyways. don’t get me wrong, I love wearing makeup so sometimes I need a full beat face, but every day this is working for me.

What I Use

Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer $36

I am in the shade Ivory because I’m the palest human alive, and the light shade was too yellow. I love this stuff! It is super-light coverage, but building which is so rare for a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. It is also long-wearing which I found surprising. I love Tarte, so I’m not surprised that I love this so much.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector $34

I don’t know how to describe this tube of awesomeness. It has more coverage than a tinted moisturizer or BB cream but still gives the same light-weight feel and is super long wearing! It is also buildable as well.

Let me know if you have any tinted moisturizer’s that you enjoy 🙂
