My skin has been going through it. Mainly because I went back on the birth control pill a few months ago so my hormones have been all over the place. Now, the weather is getting colder and I’m doing my best to keep it from getting dry. I thought I would share what has been working wonders for me.
I started using my clarisonic again after about a year because they had the brush head I sue half off for black friday so I thought why not. And I forgot how much I loved it and how well it works for me skin. I use the radiance brush head and it really helps if you have any dark spots from acne. It has helped so much with unclogging my pores as well!
Mario Badescu Chamomile Eye Cream
Oddly enough the driest part of my face is my under eyes, no matter what time of year it is. I recently picked this up at ulta because it was more affordable than most eye creams and only $18. This eye cream is amazing if you have dry under eyes like me! I don’t think it does much for dark circles, but that wasn’t my main concern so I won’t complain.
Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Face Exfoliant
The best exfoliator I have ever used! Hands down! It gets all of the dead skin off, but does not dry out your skin. It leaves your skin glowy, but also controls oil. I don’t know how they do it, witchcraft probably.
These are my babies! The high potency night cream will heal any cry patches you have over night and you’ll wake up with your skin refreshed. I also love the Gin-Zing moisturizer for day time. I can’t use this in the summer, but it is perfect for this cold weather. It isn’t too heavy and gives your skin an illuminated look. Now, the drink up intensive overnight mask is my favorite product of all time, no lie. First, it smells amazing, like apricots. Second, you put this on and basically wake up with a new face. Your skin will be plump, your skin tone more even and so moisturized! I can’t get enough of it.
I am also still using Purity face cleanser but Philosophy, that one works year round.
Let me know what your winter skin care favorites are, I love trying new things!
